Client: Better Cities Project, auspiced by Dept. of Housing, SWS Sydney
This project was an integral part of a series of regional projects aimed at improving the quality of life and quality of government service delivery. The project relied on comprehensive consultation and effective stakeholder engagement and adopted a variety of community consultation and planning techniques (including two major stakeholder forums). The project developed an Employment Strategy for Campbelltown and its region. The approach was collaborative and inclusive, promoting and facilitating partnership between stakeholders, government agencies, social sectors, business and other interests. and focussed on “social innovation” in the design and delivery of place-based employment programs.
