Client: Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (WSROC) Ltd, (lead consultancy, Albany Consulting)
Developing a regional implementation model for the Greater Western Sydney region in the context of the Metropolitan Strategy, addressing issues of regional urban planning and management. The project involved research and consultation with stakeholders at local, state and federal level, and with community representatives. This required moving beyond an ‘interdepartmental committee’ model of consultation to put together a Regional Agenda owned by the major players.
