Evaluation of Supported Playgroup Program, Regional NSW

The review of the Orana Supported Playgroups project involved interviewing managers, staff and participating parents, attendance at and observation of playgroups in participating communities (mostly Aboriginal) and facilitation of a feedback workshop with the Management Committee. Respite Options and Camps for Kids Program Evaluation

These programs in regional NSW had a high Aboriginal participation rate. Data for the evaluation was collected by a telephone interviews with referral agencies and participating parents and carers. Face-to-face group discussions were conducted with parents and children at a social function designed to accommodate the research.
