With Wynter Hill Consulting, prepared a Community Plan, a Housing Plan, an Education and Training plan and a Business and Enterprise Strategy for this Central Australian community at Uluru (Ayers Rock), where the first language is Pitjantjatjara. (Project funded by OLMA, PAN and ATSIC.)

Evaluation of Supported Playgroup Program, Regional NSW

Client: UnitingCare Burnside, Dubbo

Location/s: Dubbo, Gulargambone, Narromine, Warren, Trangie, Coonamble (NSW)

The review of the Orana Supported Playgroups project involved interviewing managers, staff and participating parents, attendance at and observation of playgroups in participating communities (mostly Aboriginal) and facilitation of a feedback workshop with the Management Committee. The report made a range of recommendations about strengthening the program.

Respite Options and Camps for Kids Program Evaluation

Client: UnitingCare Burnside, Dubbo

Location/s: Dubbo

These programs in regional NSW had a high Aboriginal participation rate. Data for the evaluation was collected by a telephone interviews with referral agencies and participating parents and carers. Face-to-face group discussions were conducted with parents and children at a social function designed to accommodate the research.
