The review of the Orana Supported Playgroups project involved interviewing managers, staff and participating parents, attendance at and observation of playgroups in participating communities (mostly Aboriginal) and facilitation of a feedback workshop with the Management Committee. The report made a range of recommendations about strengthening the program.

These programs in regional NSW had a high Aboriginal participation rate. Data for the evaluation was collected by a telephone interviews with referral agencies and participating parents and carers. Face-to-face group discussions were conducted with parents and children at a social function designed to accommodate the research.

With the Albany Consulting Group, participated as senior member of the project team which reviewed monitoring systems used by ADD for funded services ($800 million). Developed a new monitoring system based on a review of best practice and extensive focus group research with funded agencies and services.
